The Dept of VA is not permitting the Boy Scouts to plant American flags on Vet’s graves (due to some disease).
100% CORRECT. = ONE really BIG difference is that there is a FEDERAL LAW from 1914 that states that CS veterans ARE US veterans & are to be treated with the SAME respect & veneration as every other AMERICAN ex-GI.

Fyi, for over 20 years, I ran the CSA Memorial Ceremony at ANC, until I retired & never had a single problem.
(Btw, one of my main assistants at the ceremonies was a Black man & a 33rd Degree Prince Hall Mason, who is a direct descendant of a CSA Sergeant from GA.)
Further I am the SOLE person who is allowed by DC city ordinance to fire ARTILLERY memorial salutes in Washington DC.
(Since retiring, I “temporarily appoint” another person “to act in my stead” in January of each year.)
