I've got news for you, when a vote passes or fails by one vote that immediately tells me, as in this case, most everyone wanted this amendment to fail. This tells me the voting was scrupulously orchistrated to allow people to vote how they publicly wanted to be perceived with just enough to ensure there would be sufficient votes allowing it to fail.

For so MANY years I voted for Rob Portman who claimed to be a Conservative. He changed his spots a number of years back. I see he’s on the list.
He along with DeWine will not get my vote. Not voting for the lesser of two evils anymore. They are like democrats, so what is the point? They need to go.

Isn’t this very similar to the recent Supreme Court decision not to allow tracing of phone calls by tower location unless there is a warrant?
So presumably it would lose if challenged in court, but that is a long process.
