I don’t think it was critically acclaimed. I never saw it but I remembered it was a huge flop. It got a lot of attention because it was based on some popular graphic novel I guess, but I think it was pretty much universally looked at as terrible.
And I think it more or less killed her career. I don’t know of any major movie she starred in after that.
