Isn't the average IQ 100? I mean, that is the definition of the average IQ. So what is her point. We're average?

That’s how the tests are designed. Saying that the average is 99 is utterly meaningless, because the scoring is designed to set the average at 100 (mathematical average)

100 is the average for the European descended. America’s is actually in the mid-90’s thanks to the influx of non-Europeans since the turn of last century. And 100 isn’t even what you’d call smart.
