Good news and bad news. Your #7, no doubt of good intention, lays out a few suggestions worthy of the highest consideration. But, just between you and me, you also include what could be regarded as undeserved and inappropriate cheap shots at Trump.

There is nothing at all in Trump's linked tweet that demonstrates self-focus; in fact, that tweet could have been authored by most FReepers as one of the urgent and even obvious wake up calls needed by our political leaders.

Nor does Trump "cede powers" to a "President Fauci". He inherited Fauci as a seemingly well-credentialed member of the group of experts that was brought to his attention in response to a major threat crossing the threshold. If you have ever tried to summarily dismiss an expert, you know there are risks. In this case, it seems better that Trump keep Fauci close to him.

Think of the forces currently aligned against Trump: the lib Dems, the Deep State, the Rino's, MSM-educated voters and now a major international adversary who can "pose" an existential threat and recognize they are all bent on increasing his work load. One shouldn't wonder if he does very rarely focus on himself.

In Washington people aren’t dismissed. They’re simply ‘reassigned’ to nice sounding jobs where they have no real duties or they are ‘reorganized’ out of their position. I think Trump missed an opportunity to shift gears into the next phase of the national CV management effort and effectively reorganize Fauci out of his high profile role. Thank him for his service and push him into the background. Put some layers above him.

Fauci is a loose cannon with no leftist connections. You cannot leave someone like that is a position where they can undermine your agenda. Its Management 101 really.

Correction:

I meant to say "Fauci is a loose cannon with known leftist connections.

Sorry for the typo.
