I like the song. I think I enjoyed the tune more than the lyrics. I never understood the reference to Peter Lorre, or a woman leading you through a hidden door, or why you have to stay with her in the Year of the Cat. But I always enjoyed the song anyway.
That song sounds to me like it’s referencing old 30s-40s movies.
