I watched the entire hearing live. When I watched “In His Own Words” I got angry at those scum senators, Leahy, Kennedy, Heflin, and especially that sanctimonious jerk Biden.
Near the end, Thomas said something that resonates strongly today in light of all of these governors playing dictator.
“Good policy can be unconstitutional, good policy can be Constitutional. That’s why we have to go to the text.”
In Maryland, our Governor/tyrant has broken many aspects of the Maryland and US Constitutions. I’ve helped support and fund a lawsuit against him but sadly, the sheep in this state would rather just wear a mask and sit home while their lively hoods crash to the ground and their rights are destroyed. I actually got into an argument with some idiot the other day when I said I wouldn’t participate with a contact tracer.
I have a book called, “The Real Anita Hill”.
My take was that after she left his employ, when shy applied for her new job under “reason for leaving old job”, she just made up “sexual harassment” to hide that she was let go because she was not performing. And then everything was fine.
Until Thomas was nominated, at which point the MSM went in to full witch hunt mode and found an ex employee that claimed on a job application to have been sexually harrassed.
This explains why Anita did not want to come forward. Unfortunately, the MSM told her they were doing it with or without her, so she had no choice but to continue and embellish the lie. And probably earn some extra bucks in the process.
But I could be wrong...
I watched the documentary. It was really good. Clarence Thomas has always been one of my favorite public figures. He and Antonin Scalia were inspirations for many years, even when they were greatly outnumbered.
My wife and I actually went into a movie theater to see this when it first came out. Great movie. The house was probably 25% full and when it was over there was a standing ovation. Watch this if you get the chance.

I read his memoir, “My Grandfather’s Son”........I have nothing but the utmost respect for this man and complete disgust at and for how he was treated by democrats....
In his memoir, he mentioned that every summer he and his wife hop in their mobile home and tour the country.
I thought how cool would it be if you pulled into a campground campsite and found yourself parked next to Judge Thomas....
Folks, this is now available on-demand in the PBS Roku app.
“He must have been thinking about now candidate for president Joe Biden who faces a 1993 sexual misconduct allegation a lot more credible than Anita Hill’s”
Yes. I’m assuming Nina Totenberg was not in this documentary.
Wife and I watched “Created Equal” and it was excellent! Please watch and recommend to your friends.
This could be a Babylon Bee story.
Headline: PBS Discovers Clarence Thomas is Black, Begins Praising Him
I looked for it. All I could find was the Antique Roadshow.
I watched it and was astounded at how humble this man remains, given all he has accomplished, and what it took. He barely mentions his good grades except to allude to a drive to excel simply because he was the only black in his seminary, and one of the very few blacks at Yale Law.
His concluding speech (”high-tech lynching”) to the Senate panel of scoundrels including Biden and Ted Kennedy was one for the ages. They looked absolutely gobsmacked. Every time he confounded them by simply telling the truth, Biden would gavel for a 15-minute break.
Justice Thomas’s explanation of his judicial philosophy was simple, clear and fundamentally aligned with the Founders’ vision.
So glad I watched it, and will watch it again.
