he ominous forecast from the University Of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School model accounts for all states fully reopening without any social distancing measures.

I say, put your Money where your Mouth is!!! How about if you are Right, the Taxpayers Double your Wealth, but if you are Wrong, you are ASSET STRIPPED to your Socks and Homeless Tomorrow.

Deal?? OPEN UP!!

Neil Ferguson has now made multiple wildly inflated disease models.

Last month Neil Ferguson, a professor of mathematical biology at Imperial College London, told Guardian Unlimited that up to 200 million people could be killed.

Professor Neil Ferguson, from the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology at Imperial College, said ... the future number of deaths from Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (vCJD) due to exposure to BSE in beef was likely to lie between 50 and 50,000.

And now the Wu-Flu.

Do we get to throw them in prison for 20 years if they are wrong?
Of course not.

“Academic” research is one field (there are far too many) where you can be wrong all the time and still be called an “expert” and your pronouncements have influence.

How come people who bring false charges against someone in court are never held accountable?

Biblically they need to get the most severe punishment the innocent framed person could have received.

I’m educated in statistics too, but not to your level. I agree with your statements. I noticed something interesting at the worldometer cv site. Go to Colorado and hit the “projections” link on the far right.

Scroll down to daily deaths. You can compare Colorado’s rate of daily deaths to the other states on a graph. I was randomly doing this and was surprised at how often the smaller waves of rise and fall within the entire curve of Colorado would line up with different states’ small rises and falls within their larger curves. This happens even with some states that have much more severe curves and much larger case loads.

I’m not drawing any conclusions but I’m going to investigate that more.

It would not surprise me to find out that 5 million Americans have it or already have had it.

Here in Tx I can’t really bet on the race online. Darn it. Good state but not perfect. I am surprised there has not been more of a push for online betting.

” predicts nearly 4.3 million cases and 230,000 deaths by July 24 “

This will not happen.

No state is opening with absolutely no restrictions or recommendations.

And frankly, the individual people’s social distancing is what has acheived results, not the state’s locking people in their houses.

IN many states, the three biggest sources of infection were public transportation, nursing homes, and apartment buildings. Two of those three were places people were locked up, and the 3rd a place where people were forced to be together in close proximity, by the government taking actions that actually made the crowding worse.

Where are the peer reviewed studies of social distancing? Why 6 ft not 5 feet or 10 feet or 50 feet? The makeshift cloth masks I see the sheeple wearing are about as effective in blocking the virus as a chainlink fence is blocking mosquitos.
