Bad, bad choices by this woman, but to her credit she likely saved the lives of one or more of her neighbors. I came across this looking for something else, so it's not new news, but, it is still a "head shaker" for me.
IMO, this teacher needed a good weapon and proficiency with it to take out this POS the second he stepped on her property -- and, given that she had an order of protection, she needed the right do so, as did her neighbors. What good is one of these orders if the person to be protected and his / her friends cannot act on it, with emphasis? Most of the time, the cops can only show up in time to call the hospital, or worse.
Now, I do suspect there is more to this story than meets the eye, but that still does not mean these protection orders do not need some rethinking...
At least they charged him for violating the protection order.
(My grandfather worked for the Illinois Central Railroad in Paducah.)
A black man murders a white woman, I’m sure the MSM will be all over it...
Innocent bicyclists!!...shouts some Freepers according to the Arbery threads....glad no one called the cops, armed themselves, and tried to stop the criminal. /sarc
