YouTube is deleting any comment containing 五毛 (50 Cent Army, the social media wing of CCP propaganda). Tried it myself on my own video, comment promptly disappeared.
It is rare that I see a post that is so informative, complete and well written. Keep up the good work. /s
Please explain what this is about.
Udala! Akita! Yopassha!
More seriously, for those like me who have never heard of the term 50 cent army, here's a wikipedia article. It's a perjorative term for those who promote Cinese communist propagana on the web, most of whom are probably Chinese government employees. If Youtube is removing it, then Google is once again being Cina's little bitch. Do Be Evil is their new motto.
Same thing on twitter this morning
“It’s a perjorative term for those who promote Cinese communist propagana on the web...”
That information makes all the difference in the world. It’s the difference between deleting Chinese propaganda and deleting the remarks of those offended by it.
Wow. Those evil bastards really ARE feeling their oats after having intentionally poisoned the economy of the rest of the world. Hopefully, before too long oats will be the only thing they’ll have to EAT once Planet Earth strikes back and boycotts them back into the stone age.
I hate typing on my phone. China and Chinese each have an “h”. How did I misspell both?
Klaatu barada nikto
Since YT cannot be accessed in China why would YT do this? It isn’t like they get any advertising money from the PRC.
I believe that YT does this, but it just seems like a really dumb thing for them to do. More evidence that Leftists are really dumb.

Someone told you to “get the H out!”?
Have you tried Fiddy Cent?
So what happens when you write it in English?
Youtube actively promoting thought control? what a surprise!
< / sarc?
Clearly this issue is important to you and maybe it should be important to everyone.
However, your original headline and first comment didn't adequately provide enough background and details for most of us to understand what you were trying to get across.
Your mistake was assuming everyone had the same interest and understanding of the issue.
Even though your second comment above helps it's written in such a way that it is difficult for people without background knowledge to grasp.
Next time imagine you're talking to someone who know nothing about the subject and explain it like this:
"50 Cent Army" (五毛 in Chinese) is a Chinese communist government-run program that promotes the Chinese Communist Party on social media platforms and actively censors criticism of the CCP. 50 Cent Army is now actively deleting comments on youtube."
Best regards.
I thought the “50 cent army” was the name for those who donate to “China uncensored”, an anti Chinese YouTube channel who is actually one of the best on YouTube.
They have to bring in donations freon other sources because they aren’t allowed to monetize on YouTube anymore.
I should also add the two "-& # 2 0 1 1 6 ; & # 2 7 6 1 1; in the headline didn't help your cause.
Apparently Free Republic headlines can't handle Chinese characters. Lesson learned for next time.
Whatever you were trying to say was read by most people as an 'incoherent vanity post'.
