So it is NO Surprise that the Amazon-owned Washington Post pushes for longer and longer shutdowns.

Amazon increases market share by necessity and competitors going out of business due to being shut down by government decree.

Truth is I did buy a lot off of amazon that i would usually get at another store.

They get a ton of extra business if everything stays closed

Exactly. Big mail order businesses are pushing HARD for the shutdown to continue. Small business are destroyed while they rake in the dough.
