Twitter's fact-checking policy seems to be selective on the types of misinformation it deems misleading or false. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey defended the platform's policy following backlash after a fact check placed on two of President Donald Trumps tweets this week. Dorsey said:

If Twitter wants to fight Trump’s executive order, they will have to answer questions about what they did about “Trump Russia collusion” tweets. Twitter will have to say they did nothing about that issue.
A recent WSJ editorial urged people not to trust Schiff anymore.
Schiff has repeatedly “spread falsehoods shamelessly” for three years......on broadcast TV some 237 times.
He keeps repeating false claims “he has evidence” of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Schiff is like a mangy, flea-bitten dog obsessively sniffing through garbage, then finally finding a “half-eaten bone”......... and wont let it go.
Twitter “fact checked” exactly one thing. Trump calling out mail voting for what it is. The fact they chose this one thing to react to shows how important getting mail voting is to the rats. It is everything to them.
I think Senator Joseph McCarthy had valuable things to say. But they ruined him because was just “talking crazy” about foreigners scheming against us.
Schiff, on the other hand, has clearly lied about non-existent foreigners and non-existent schemes. But the media loves the guy. He actually deserves to be treated far worse than McCarthy was treated.
