I was wondering about that too. Is it possible that in the UK they call a radiology technician (i.e., someone who’s typically completed a community college-level program to operate the x-ray machine & scanners) a “radiologist” (i.e., a term used in the U.S. for medical doctor specializes in using said equipment for diagnosis and/or treatment) ?

Answer: yes, just like they refer to aircraft mechanics as “Engineers”.

It’s hilarious.

She’s a Radiology tech, the nice lady who turns on the machine and hides out behind the shield.
