No, that’s Gene Simmons, the bassist. Bob Kulick did a fair bit of studio work with KISS back in the day. Sometimes Ace Frehley was acting temprementaal and/or was strung out, and they had Kulick play lead. One good example that I always loved was from Side 4 of Alive II, which was all studio work - he played on a song called ‘Larger Than Life’. Great song, great guitar. Kulick said he was mandated to recreate Ace’s sound and playing style, and did it perfectly. Monster guitar. As a side note to that, Peter Criss set his drum kit up in an empty theater to record his part, and that’s where that huge, echoing drum sound comes from. Like cannon fire.
