Grimes and Elon Musk have changed their baby boy’s name, the “Miss Anthropocene” singer said, after it failed to comply with California law.
The 32-year-old new mom shared the news on Instagram after a follower asked her what the baby’s new name was.
It’s unclear whether the couple has finally come to an agreement about how to pronounce their son’s name. “X Æ A-Xii,” she answered in the comments. She later added, “Roman numerals. Looks better tbh,” when a separate fan noted she “removed the numbers to conform [sic] to California law.”
The songstress also noted that California permits one dash in a name.

I thought Martians named their kids Marvin or something boring like that.
It appears the happy couple haven’t formalized their relationship with marriage.

I’m going to guess it’s the mom who’s crazy not the dad. Of course Musk did marry her. But that just shows that when he’s dating he doesn’t care what’s inside the head.

We almost named an interface we built between us developers and direct sql queries ... BobbyTables. I'm sure we're not the only team to have considered that name. We would have used it but we used an existing feature of a deployment tool we already had. Very sad, merely having a tool named that would be a special thing.

I’m only guessing on the pronunciation of “X Æ A-Xii” — maybe something like ZæyAxey. If the kid is lucky, he’ll change it to Xerxes, which at least is a real name.
Yuck.
Maybe he’ll get lucky and pick up a permanent nickname while still an infant. Like “Blanket” Jackson did.

Maybe it is just an abbreviation for Xenophon Aeschylus Axiochus.
