I have lived long enough to watch the animations of what NASA could do, before the flight of Alan Shepherd. I have read all the grand stories of future spaceflight by private companies, before America walked on the moon. I have been involved in the construction of both the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station. Today, so many dreams by so many passed-on writers have begun to be birthed. Private sector launch and space vehicles, manned or not, was one of them. I’m sure that there will be a few more birthings to witness, before I go to join those other writers.
Ad astra!

I remember watching the moon landings as fuzzy video on a black and white TV with "rabbit ears" for an antenna. Glad I've lived long enough to see the US return to human spaceflight. Shutting down and relying on the Russians was a tremendous embarrassment. Thanks again bammy. ;-/

I've talked to a few folks at Tesla and more than a few at SpaceX. Certainly Mr. Musk isn't everyone's cup of tea but I will say from an engineer's standpoint he, and his company's management, let the engineers do what they do best.
