Wars and rumors of wars are a sign of the end times

We will hear wars and rumors of wars, or you will hear about global and political unrest. Those are signs in Matthew 24:6-7, “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.” The word nation is ethnos or ethnic group. Ethnic group will rise against ethnic group. We see that around the world and kingdom against kingdom.

If you wonder what to do, or what can be done during these times, let the scriptures be your guide.

Certainly Christians are instructed to be proactive:

Matthew 24:45 Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of his household, to give the others their food at the proper time?

Revelation 3:16, NIV: "So, because you are lukewarm--neither hot nor cold--I am about to spit you out of my mouth."

What do you feel is the most evil practice we engage in today in the eyes of the Almighty? Is it not the murder of innocent babes while in their womb - over 1 billion worldwide so far?

A passage from President Lincoln's Second Inaugural Address:

"Fondly do we hope, fervently do we pray, that this mighty scourge of war may speedily pass away. Yet, if God wills that it continue until all the wealth piled by the bondsman's two hundred and fifty years of unrequited toil shall be sunk, and until every drop of blood drawn with the lash shall be paid by another drawn with the sword, as was said three thousand years ago, so still it must be said "the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether [Psalm 19:9]."

Think about this: it’s estimated 750,000 died in the civil war; what do you think will happen as a result of the slaughter of over fifty‐five million innocent babies? Let the sobriety and severity of that statement sink in.
