Drew Brees spontaneously revealed his heartfelt conviction toward his country, a sentiment which was normal and acceptable such a short time ago, before the 60s generation took over our major institutions. Since then, our nation has become much more diverse, but much more resistent in being satisfied by the progress made towards equality. The white population, which made America a nation, elected Democrats over and over and over again, including the election of Barack Obama, but the nation waxed worse and worse, over those eight years. Now we are a tribal nation and our black population, and rich white kids, are burning, looting and destroying our cities, to the point where civilization, itself, may be in jeopardy. It is more than distressing to watch such a rapid slide into a familiar scene, born from the history of Marx, Lenin, Stalin and Mao. This has nothing to do with remembering the death of George Floyd and the peaceful demonstrators. The philosophies of tyranny have penetrated the soft brains of our college and university students now for a couple of generations, until many older folks who have lived long enough, to have gained a little bit of wisdom beyond the hormone ravages of youth, have come down to basically one thought regarding real equality possible for all people. We are all born and we all die. That is it. In between, we try to do the best we can not to hurt the journey of others as we try to survive ourselves. We all have a lizard brain that we have to struggle to overcome. I pray that, one way or the other, the human carnage, both physically and economically, will stop. Personally, I would rather live in a hut in the boonies than to continue on in a nation of such hate...My opinion formed from my own close observation of media coverage and of my own history of having lived through the 60s until now has greatly saddened me for Drew Brees, Tiger Woods, and others who swiftly learned that their freedom of speech, guaranteed by their Constitution, stops at the door of the ruling class. May God help America and the World to eventually stand for freedom for all.

But, unfortunately, while he may be smarter, he has no spine...
