Colts' Chris Ballard on Not Signing Colin Kaepernick in 2017: 'We Didn't Listen'

Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard discussed his failure to speak out about issues of systemic racism in the past in a conference call with reporters Thursday. Ballard was asked about the team's decision not to sign Colin Kaepernick when it needed a quarterback during the 2017 season. "We didn't listen," he said. "I didn't listen in 2017. I love Darius Butler. He tried to explain it. I thought I heard it. I didn't. We didn't listen."

OK, so the insinuation is that there was a league-wide conspiracy to not sign this guy. Thirty two teams and their owners colluded to make sure this guy was not going to get another QB job.

Ballard, another NFL phoney. Football players, coaches, front office, have been nortoriously stupid. They think they know football, but when they move one inch beyond the endline they only prove just how ignorant they are. After all, the average IQ of the Pro Football Hall of Fame is 82.

I think all NFL teams should release all the white guys and only sign black players.

And only sell tickets to black people, no whites allowed in any stadium. And change the league name to the Black Football League.

Maybe the NFL should declare one week in the next season as "Black Lives Matter Week" and let only black fans attend, and let it be for free, except for concessions.

I can only imagine Kaepernick in New England with Bellicheck. It Might be fun to watch. He wouldn’t make it to Labor Day.
