You will have to show me. Are you sure that being a Mason and in Government is any different from just being in Government? What I mean by that is I know of no Masonic literature that shows a Masonic Lodge being behind such accusations. That a Mason might be opposed to a political party is no different from a Catholic or Shinto Samari in a Government being opposition.
That one who believes in God almighty is the basis of Masonry and the organization itself is modeled upon King Solomon’s Temple and being law abiding.

My great-grandfather was, according to family history, a man high up in the Masonic lodge. I never knew him, but my understanding was that he was a pillar of the community, as you say, law abiding.
