No way to see anything involving the actual shooting. Resisting arrest with all his might, then running away. No video of the shooting.

The white cop.
What I saw:
Police try and subdue and cuff the man who fights them and takes a tazer from one of the officers (officer 1). He then gets free and runs. The other officer (officer 2) attempts to taze the black man and it doesn't seem to have any affect. The police persue the black man and go off camera.
When they return to view, the black man is face down and it appears that officer 1 shot him.

What we know: the perp was resistant to being tazed. (drugs?)
The perp had possession of a tazer. (armed)
The perp was killed.

What we don't know: what happened off camera. Did the perp turn and try to use the tazer on officer 1, find he could and turn again to flee? Did that action prompt officer 1 to draw and fire his weapon? I can see it happening. Due to reaction time, officer 1 draws when the perp turns, aims and pulls the trigger as the perp turns to flee.

But we don't know that. It looks like he was shot while running away and that does look like a bad kill.

Looks bad.

After a struggle where the perp was trying to get ahold of one cop’s gun or taser, he - the perp - bested the two cops such that he got away from them and was running away at the time he was shot.

But in the video you cannot see either the cop or the guy when the shot is taken.

But it does look bad.

We’ll have to see what the cops say about why they judged the perp as a danger to them when he was running away.

“Stop or I’ll shoot” is not going to be “socially acceptable” anymore, when the perp is unarmed.
