The occupiers of CHAZ are not revolutionaries, they are typical representatives of Seattle culture. That is why local authorities and the local press are treating them with kid gloves, even praising them.

The "revolutionaries" of CHAZ are like rebellious children who "run away" from home by hiding in the basement. This is a family squabble between indulgent parents (the authorities) and their bratty children (CHAZ).

If CHAZ really did represent a revolt against Seattle values, it would have been dealt with harshly. Within hours, the area would have been surrounded by police (and probably FBI), tear gassed, and the participants would have been rounded up and arrested. Conservatives should stay out of this fight; we have nothing to gain by injecting militancy into this situation.

Those thugs probably are from other cities...they don’t have homes in Seattle...

Or else they would either go home at night or at least to shower and change their clothes...

Theyre either Homeless in Seattle or furrinaz...

“This is a family squabble between indulgent parents (the authorities) and their bratty children (CHAZ).”

Agree. San Francisco has bratty children called “Critical Mass” who have shut down the city streets every Friday evening for twenty years. The commuters yell at police who shrug their shoulders and look away. They really are bratty children: losers, selfish, bored, and depressed.
