Just took a blood test for Lyme Disease. I have been having unexplained joint pain in my legs and lack of energy. Have had several tick bites in the last several months. What does anyone know about this?
I assume your thyroid and electrolytes are normal? Also do you snore or have sleep apnea?
“What does anyone know about this?”
Named after Lyme, CT. Soon to be renamed TF-96.
We’re having a banner tick year so far in Southern Oregon. Dogs and horses so far.
A rancher friend thinks he had Lymes a few years ago. Put him down for several months... and he’s a big, strong guy.
The old test for Lymn Disease wasn’t all that accurate. Perhaps they have a better test now.
Friend just told me today his doctor gave him stevia. Feels great and 20 years younger.
Sounds wierd.

If it is Lymes, nip it in the bud.
Don’t hesitate to hit it with big doses of antibiotics.
Lived in Va in 1988. One of our field guys got hit hard and wound up with his legs practically paralyzed.
The hospitals can’t always detect it you would be better off to go to a specialist
I heard of that Stevia thing. Its worth a try.
Ticks carry Lyme. The reason one should always de tick after being in their territory
It can be very debilitating. It becomes an autoimmune if bad enough. You may end up on a lengthy round of anti biotic. Can have severe long term side effects. Some folks recover quickly. Hope youre the later
Wow!
Turoid test was normal
Stevia, for Lyme disease? Wow.
You’re in for a ride.
Most places only consider you having lyme if you show positive in ALL five bands.
Some doctors who specialize in lyme treatment say you can actually have lyme with as little as two or three bands being positive.
Good luck, prayers up.
Keep fluid and electrolytes up.
I had Lyme disease a couple years ago. I went to an Urgent Care. They prescribed me a drug, and within 24 hours I felt perfectly normal.
20 years ago, I had Lymes, Meningitis and Shingles all at the same time. I was hospitalized for about a week.
Sent home and had care providing I.V. therapy for a week, then could handle that on my own.
Continued for about a month.
I can tell you this...I had no strength, or stamina, could not walk from one room to the next without resting.
Please see a physician as soon as possible - don’t rely on info from the Internet for treatment.
Good luck!
ps...recovered and have been 100% since.
What are you doing around so many ticks???
Praying you recover, quickly.
Doxycycline
How long ago was your exposure?
My brother has similar symptoms with West Nile disease then he got tick fever. He is gaining stamina.
