I would imagine a dozen lawyers are reaching out to her and willing to take the case. This mortgage company will have dig up a fair amount of money (probably more than $10-million) to pay this lady off. I’m guessing the board is meeting today and discussing how this action occurred, and who exactly signed off.


She probably will sue and the Company will settle, perhaps for a few million $$. But the Company will still view it as a net positive because they don’t want to be viewed as racist for employing her.

Yeah, its a very dangerous precedent.

You folks have completely unrealistic ideas about dollar amounts in damages lawsuits. Much of America does, so you’re far from alone.

For some practical education at a low level on this, watch a couple weeks of Judge Judy.
