I have read a bunch of UFO books, attended UFO conventions, studied the subject for many years, and I am now convinced it is 99% fakery and/or disinformation.

The 1% is interesting, but good luck separating the wheat from the chaff.

Here was that “good luck” for me. You will quickly forget what you studied in UFO books once you actually encounter one.

Mine came about 30 miles north of Duluth near the old logging town of Shaw in August, 1979. It was an object which had clearly visible detail flying completely silently over me just above the spruce treetop line at a 60 acre clearing I was in. It was moving from West to East transversing the entire clearing to the opposite treeline at 10-20 mph.

Judging from comparing the size to the relatable sized familiar trees, it appeared to be about 60’X40’X20’
The sides were rounded & it had a large circle of lights surrounding a large single light in their center
An identical smaller light array was on the left & right side of the rear.

There was an unusual number of close up sightings in a two month period that year in an area bordered by Bemidji, Thunder Bay & Duluth, including a number of reports from eyewitness law enforcement.

It’s all just supposition until you see this yourself. Then, it becomes very, very real.
