I see a dominant trend in how people "think" these days. It's pretty obvious on the topic of Race, but I see it in other areas too. I would sum it up as follows: "You either agree with my opinion, or you're wrong."

I think it's an evolution of the recent postmodern concept of "We all have our own truths" or "Your truth may be different from my truth". I think those postmodern notions are sloppy and dangerous ways of thinking. But I think we are now at a new level.

"I have an opinion. My opinion is basically a Fact. If you ignore my Fact, if you dare to have an Opinion that differs from my Opinion, then you are the worst person ever."

I can't believe people are going through life with a worldview like that, but I think they are.

Yes....that is the position of the Left. You should see the "diversity and inclusion" discussions I read.
