“If Google and Mozilla turn off Parler, etc, we’re cooked.”

I guess it’s back to shortwave and BBS.

I use Opera, but Chrome works fine and so does PaleMoon.

We’re left to tender mercies of Safari, then?

Better get out the checkbook.

I still prefer Opera.

I just installed SRWare Iron, and so far it’s firing on all cylinders. But now I think another left wing tech movement is afoot to block certain websites being accessed via their software. I wonder how far this will go.....

Disable your add-ins. It’s probably their anti-DDoS mitigation blocking what you are trying to do.

I’ve used that in the past, but I downloaded and installed Flashpeak SlimJet because it seemed user friendly, plus it has a video downloader built in. Now it doesn’t work with a lot of the websites I used to access with it, and this has all happened within the last 10 days or so.

What add-ins/extensions would be causing something like that? I only have things like FB Purity, Adblock Plus, Save Image as Type, Force Background tabs installed.

Not me. I have Linux and 4 separate browsers for specific websites but Palemoon’s my main squeeze.

Well that didn’t last long. I installed it, and after only 60 minutes or less I’m being blocked again. Even with SRWare. WHAT IN THE BLUE BLAZES IS GOING ON!?!?!?!?!?!

I think I figured it out.

User-Agent Switcher extension, I believe, was causing the problems. It's an extension used to render YouTube in a manner in keeping with it's old interface/GUI. If installed with default settings, it affects a lot of different websites so I had to go in and tell it to specifically target YouTube and nothing else. Then everything started working.

I usually see Cloudflare issues when site i want has been or is under ddos attack. If its a mild attack or is 9ver it results in hang. If bad it goes to Cloudflareb splash screen.

Brave is the most stable browser I’ve ever used.

Never crashes and never a problem as you describe.

Interesting. I hope that is it.
My version/settings continue to function at baseline level. No blocking observed.

I am a Microsoft Tech. It’s a whole new browser. Edge for Windows 10 was scuttled. Chromium Edge took its place.

Try to keep up.

Who is behind Palemoon?

Seems to be mostly a programmer/artist named Markus Straver, also called Mark Straver or M.C.C. Straver. He used to be located in Sweden, and may still be there.

Unlike some Firefox clones, Pale Moon is updated frequently. I suspect that maintaining Pale Moon is Straver's main job.

I also run a VPN w/ Norton 360, and Opera has a built-in VPN which I activate and have zero problems going anywhere.

What was the name of the site(s) you had problems with? I want to visit and test out the VPN.
