Thanks, for sharing that. It sounds like he may have a good head on his shoulders.

So, did Klaus Nomi copy Yoko, or did Yoko copy Nomi?

It is said that Donald Trump was a big Ron Nasty fan in his younger days and was inspired by the way that Nasty turned this potentially bad situation into a very lucrative windfall.
I mean, not only did the dumb kids who weren't even Rutles fans yet in the first place go out and buy the albums just to burn them, but they had to go out and buy those albums all over again about a year later when they finally realized just how good they were.
As a very young boy, I was able to see them live at Che Stadium. It was epic. I still have the ticket stub from that night tucked in the sleeve of my "Can't Buy Me Lunch" DVD.

John Lennon was a Communist prick who said his band was bigger than Jesus himself. Maybe him getting shot was karma.
I am really not so sure JL meant it to sound the way it was reported. I was never a fan of Beatles except for Abbey Road, which was just amazing!

He said that to some people the Beatles were bigger than Jesus and he found that quite disturbing, meaning he wasn’t OK with that.

Actually, she was far richer than John.
That was one of the things that attracted him- she had absolutely *no* need of his wealth. Her family was one of the richest and most powerful in Japan, actually both sides of her family were close to the Emperor. She was also well known and established as an artist in her own right before they met.

My observation regarding her looks, too.
Japanese women, IMO, are very pretty, but not this one.

So she's finally imagining no possessions!
Classic!

Incidentally, the line about The Beatles being more popular than Jesus was said by John with astonishment. He was not bragging.Yes, and it was true at the time. There had never been anything like Beatlemania. People went absolutely crazy over them. This is why they quit touring early in their career. They couldn't hear themselves play over the screaming.
