I didn’t think I liked her, but saw a documentary showing what an alcoholic mess John had been, how she was the only stability in his life, and how he reformed after they got back together. She was sincere and well spoken. A terrible tragedy that he was killed after turning his life around.

Yep - I had my mental prejudices until I saw a documentary about the both of them with many candid shots/conversations...changed my whole mind about her....and him.
