OK so I grew up outside the U.S. I didn’t really see American race relations until I came to the U.S. for college. My conclusion after spending time both for college and graduate school is that about 80% of racism in American is black-generated, in fact I saw very little overt racism from white people, and numerous examples from black people.
This is a good example.
Now I have heard as dead as a door nail, dead as a dog, and a couple others, but never dead as high noon.
On a more serious note. I have been thinking about what an older man like myself could take for self defense into these places.
I have come to the conclusion that a cane with a long dagger within might be the thing. They’d never know it till I pulled that thing out of the cane cover.

Four have been arrested and still looking for the 5th. I am sure this will be all over the national networks,

And it's sad. The strongest brothers and sisters have have in Christ are black, and the little twerp harassing the, I won't call them kids, they are young adults getting a hard lesson in reality, is nothing like what walks in my circle of friends. But those young adults will surely remember this and, I fear, jump to the wrong conclusion.
This isn't a race war. This is the oldest war and against the old adversary. *spit*
You can handle the immediate threat with force but what your seeing is spiritual oppression/possession. Only way to effectively deal with it is through self reflection, fasting and prayer.
