Due to overcrowding at my local Jr. High, ninth graders were shipped to various HSs...First day of classes at the 1200 or so students, I was one of only two white students, the other a very short frail male with last name of Schwartz who didn't show on day two.

This was in 1961, the calm before the later storm, I and my black JrHS class mates were 13-14 years old thrown in with 18-20 year males...targets. Quickly learned to strike first in confrontations where a beating was inevitable...never won any fights but I was no longer a soft target. BTW, my black mech drawing teacher on first day of class drew back his jacket to show his short barrel pistol to emphasis that any after school complaints about failing graded were inadvisable.

A letter from the principal and school nurse facilitated a transfer to a cross town HS the following year...as did more than half of my black JrHS classmates. Last white boy to attend that black HS.

In South Jersey around 1973 me and my cousin were the only white faces on the school bus. Even the bus driver was a black dude named Deek. However we never had one single problem.

and another thing - I went to USMC boot camp in 1986, graduated as platoon honor man, went on to 5811 school - got out 6 years later, went to engineering school on GI Bill getting a whopping $400 per month - now working in tech.

Welcome to FR my FRiend! I appreciate your hard work to create a sight that keeps track of the “craziness” taking place in America. Don’t worry about the whiners. They are just to lazy to click their 🐭. They don’t have a problem reading someone else’s content as long as someone else goes off FR, gets the material and then posts it on FR. Seems a little hypocritical, doesn’t it?

They come across as just a little bit entitled.

Nicely organized site of yours Mr. Aggregate. There are some folks here that recoil at the discussion of race. I suppose they think FR is descending into Stormfront territory if they dare to participate. So, we get the one liner crap posted by the weaker hit and run typists.

Public schools were segregated the entire time I went to 1-12 school. Wonderful.

Interesting site. I expected at larger title at the top. Took a few seconds to figure out the numbers at the top. I expected to be able to click on the categories over each number to view all those articles. I eventually found the drop down selection on the right.

I like the single column layout, and the lack of a two minute refresh. That refresh drives me crazy on LibertyDaily. The grouping of layoff articles was an eye opener.

Recommendations:
1. make articles open on a new page, so we don’t have to click back to your site.
2. show the article date to the right of the title.
3. put a ‘Next page’ button the bottom.
4. allow firearm advertisements to fund your site.
