I respectfully disagree with Solan. Seattle’s problem is that a “reasonable majority” on election day showed up at the polls and elected marxists, socialist’s and communists to Lead their city.
27% of the eligible voters in Seattle voted in the last election.
We will find out if there is a silent majority of sanity in Seattle.

Of course they knew. Their choice - to keep the chaos going - was intentional.
They short staffed cops - putting them in danger - handed them directions that made them appear powerless. The cops easily could have to a stop to the mess.
