I have a suppressed .22 LR semiautomatic, and when I use subsonic rounds, the loudest noise is the bolt coming back. You’re like “did I just shoot this thing?”
Is it less effective on the first round?

i saw the same thing with a suppressed 9mm fully-automatic H&K submachine gun ... all you could hear was the (really fast) clacking of the bolt ... pretty amazing actually ...
The stamp and the suppressor probably cost more than your .22.......Maybe not.
