Yes, he is soon to be 29 years old and has been earning his own money. After college he elected to sign on for two years with Americorp rather than getting a paying job. He lived on very little money and no help from us doing volunteer work. After Americorp he has gotten a job paying less than 50K per year even though he has two degrees. He seems to be content.

Along with the good move he has made about supporting himself, hopefully, you can convince him that the “woke” direction may look and sound really good, it is actually detrimental to the future...
No matter what he has been told, all one has to do is look at the many countries in the world who took to the “woke” or socialist direction and where it got them in comparison to the “capitalist” working direction that our country has taken for the last 244 years...
One day, as he gets older, he may very well realize how right you are on this...
