Don’t start with that. All lives matter. Uncapitalized.

(Of course, latter can be argued, too....did Hitler living matter to you?)

Again, many logical questions are raised, and sometimes it DOES seem we are being told some lives matter much more than others based on who gets all the press and sympathy. And shamed for it, too, even when it does not involve us.

Again, one of those questions is, “is it better to kill anyone randomly equally, or to target groups”? Sophie’s choice?

Sorry. You have to start with that. The lives of people whose murderers were not punished matter more than the lives of people whose murderers were. The Teton Sioux, Roman Nose among them, were hung for their deperdations. Colonel Chivingston was not. Shepherd was a local hero for annihilating the Delaware, and he had many accomplices.

But I grow less and less convinced that Chauvin was really deliberately murdering George Floyd, as is alleged, and if so, he should not be punished and should get his job back if he still wants it. If BLM lynches him instead of accepting that after a trial, George Floyd is no longer a martyr, and BLM is officially on a par with the KKK.
