It was a news conference so part of the 25 min was Q&A. What I found interesting is when the friends trucks were shown.
The the two friend's trucks were approaching each other from different directions, the doors were closed and the trucks did not appear to have been "shot up".
I appreciate this. It’s a smaller community, and he wants to let his community know what’s going on.

I wonder why the father wasn’t able to drive his son to the hospital? If he couldn’t move him to his car, push him across the seat and drive him in the son’s truck? This story seems odd. I guess the father panicking could explain all that.

I've heard of more than a few people over the years who in an emergency situation would first call someone other than 911.
The father panicking may explain everything but it does seem odd. He may have also known he was physically unable to move his son so didn't even try.
Not all four but you can see two sides of each. Also note that the windshield of the red truck is intact and the rear window of the black truck appears to be intact. All tires are inflated.

Y but instinct was that it was a drug hit, like the one in southern Ohio a few years ago.
