Need to stop, but for the most part won't. Many called the NFL dead years ago when Kaepernick first threw his hissy-fit on the bench. But sure enough the fans came back last season, and you can bet the farm conservatives were a large part of the fans returning.
We'll see if it's different this time. I have my doubts. Many conservatives talk a good game until it impacts their individual lives.

Sports are a powerful way to teach children how to be everything they can be. Adults playing games for pay, however, is just sad. I have, honestly, lost all taste for the violent spectacles. huge wastes at multiple levels. Too bad for all the industries that have developed dependencies and even flourished, but that is what happens when one backs the wrong horse.
I just read thru the comments on the original link - a crewmember w(Angela’s husband) as fined $10k for violating COVID protocol and letting them take the picture. It is in the NASCAR penalties for that race. TOTALLY OVERBOARD IMO.

NASCAR issued penalties Tuesday after last weekend’s events at Texas Motor Speedway, handing down $10,000 fines to two teams.
Among those was a violation of COVID-19 health protocols by Michael Ruch, a crew member for the Reaume Brothers Racing No. 00 team in the Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series. The penalty report – citing Sections 12.8.1.b. (Member Conduct) and 7.7.2.j. in the NASCAR Rule Book – noted “non-compliance with essential personnel/team event roster rules.”
As NASCAR has told us, the story isn’t important. True or not, this story is as real as “systemic racism,” nooses in the garage area, and “the leading cause of death for black men is the police.”

Why would the media bury the story? They, along with the left, want to destroy most professional sports, particularly those associated primarily with men and conservatives.
