I agree with you, but the problem is that in order to change things in a positive way, parents have to be onboard - from an earlier point in the lives of these kids. Both groups of kids you mentioned are lacking respect for others. They feel justified in running roughshod over others. Having compassion, a conscience, and a sense of personal responsibility is essential in the world - if we are to go forward without killing each other. I'm sick about the state of things.

Unfortunately the parents are likely worse than the kids. It’s not as simple as saying parents need to step up when the parents are the main cause of the problem.
