Former UN Ambassador Susan Rice opened up about her right-leaning son in an interview Wednesday, saying blood is thicker than politics.
“I have a 23-year-old son whom I love dearly, whose politics are very, very different from my own and from the rest of our family,” the former Obama administration cabinet member told NPR. “My son and I will have some robust disagreements over some matters of policy, not all. And yet, at the end of the day, you know, I love him dearly, and he loves me.”
Rice, who served as ambassador to the United Nations from 2009 to 2013 and as national security advisor from 2013 to 2017, has risen to the spotlight in recent days due to her reported spot on Joe Biden’s shortlist for potential vice presidential choices.
Her son, John David Rice-Cameron, was president of the Stanford College Republicans and hosted events such as “Make Stanford Great Again.”
His mother said she believes, for both her family and the country, in respecting those with differing political views and finding areas of agreement.
And she said she and her son don’t disagree on everything. …

In fact; wasn't it one of the black female talking heads on MSNBC who suggested that Kamala Harris' white husband was "problematic" because black voters wanted to see her with a "strong black man"
Try to imagine a white TV host suggesting that a white candidate's black spouse was 'an issue' because the white voting base would rather see her/him with a strong white man/woman.
That white host would be out of a job and ostracized from society faster than you can say, "Megyn Kelly".
If Biden picks her, I hope the kid doesn’t take it personally when we savage his mom.

Hardly remarkable. Happens all the time in both directions. Part of it’s teen rebellion, part of it’s hearing the same bromides over and over, and noticing the weakness in the reasoning. My dad’s a lefto professor, though now he’s in decline. He was a formidable debater, but somehow my inner voice prevailed and I became conservative.

If Rice’s son is a Trump supporter, he is one of the very few his age who has successfully resisted peer pressure and brain-washing, and has a strong, independent mind, usually a sign of good character.
Juan William’s kid is a Conservative, and works has worked on various Republican campaigns, I think.
The creepy people in a Biden Administration, may also include people like Bernie Sanders.
