I remember, years ago, a guy at the LGS demonstrating the colibris in the shop. I used to fight getting CB Longs into the 10-22 chamber. I was ecstatic when a LR option came out. The frangible HP was icing on the cake.
CB shorts only get fed to my heritage 6 shooter they suck in my Remington semi. Colibris won’t cycle the rem but they feed great from the mag and oh so quiet. on my G2G 1911 with CCI subsonic or CCI quiet 40gr with the lightest recoil spring they cycle like a dream. my AR22 upper also likes the CCI quiets they cycle as well. I shoot in the back yard on the regular into a dirt trap I made none of my neighbors have ever said anything not called Johnny laws. The CCI subsonic are definitely louder than the Quiets but wear safe at 100dbs or less on my sound meter.
