Rejoice, because Michelle Obamas podcast has arrived! (snip)
As Michelle explains in her first episode, which features husband Barack as her guest, the idea of the podcast sprouted up after the family left the White House. Once she finally had time to breathe, she threw herself into reflecting on their time at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and she didnt stop there. I went even deeper, she said. I looked back on the whole arc of my life. Which brings us to this first episode, in which she and Barack explore how parenting (and perspective) has shifted since their youth.
The phrase that sticks with me from my parents is never enough. Cause the minute you had a little bit of something a pint of ice cream, chocolate and you ask for strawberry youd get in trouble. Its like, How dare you not be satisfied with what you have? And I find myself saying that to Malia and Sasha. Thats the biggest thing that gets on my nerves they know it. Were doing something great, and you start looking at each other. Its like, never satisfied. Stuff doesnt make you happy.(snip)
But as Michelle points out, todays society centers consumerism and accumulation. The model has become not that you sacrifice, but that you should be able to have it all and how you get it, and if youre not getting it somethings wrong, she lamented.

Dating white guys?
This idiot gets a podcast and now every utterance is headline news.
Wait ‘till they bring home Jeruvius from the hood.
They remind him that he is only their “pretend mom,” and that they are rentals.
She gets on my nerves every time that she crawls out from under her rock.
Mike is still alive.
‘The model has become not that you sacrifice, but that you should be able to have it all and how you get it, and if youre not getting it somethings wrong, she lamented.’
After Michelle Obama said “For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback,” and he was then elected President, it was the first time in my life I was ashamed of my country.
A puff piece article about Michelle Obama lecturing on personal sacrifice should have a barf alert.
They get it from you and Barry, Mooch.
They learned it from you two.
Who gives a rat’s ass?
Rich elite minorities have SOOOOO much to complain about.
Mooch can’t help it though.
Never satisfied.
LOL
Big Mikes podcast sounds as interesting as Mrs. Warriors memoirs.
But twerking and smoking dope A OK.
Kids these days were raised on ‘everybody gets a trophy’ liberalism infantizing. If everybody gets a trophy regardless of effort then everybody should be filthy rich, too. The concept of accumulation of legal wealth as a result of persistence through sometimes dozens of failures is lost on them. Participation trophies don’t require persistence, they only require a pulse. The distinction of earned reward has been erased. Kids today think they should be able to ‘travel the world’ before they’re 30 because they deserve it, because they’re ‘world citizens,’ not because they’ve earned the means to do so, but because others owe them that participation trophy.
Adding to that, far-left liberalism has erased the distinction between corrupt wealth and earned wealth. Corrupt wealth is not shamed in society, it’s celebrated in movies and music. An equally corrupt media plays up the carefree party lifestyle as a human ‘right’. Because, like, civilization is ending anyway in 10 years, or 15, or 25, or...
