On top of this, we had protesters BUSSED IN FROM GEORGIA Fri morning to walk the streets of Louisville chanting for justice (they want the cops involved in the Breonna Taylor case to be arrested, which if you read the details on the case, the chance of that happening are actually pretty slim. Hubs and I are fully expecting the shit to hit the fan once the cops are cleared.) we've had protesters here for weeks cause our shitty Dem state gov and equally shitty city mayor are wringing their hands over covid19 and not doing a damn thing to stop them. (it was just announced our upcoming State Fair is going to be closed to the public. We're fully expecting the upcoming Kentucky Derby is gonna get the same treatment) Most of Louisville's downtown businesses have had their glass storefronts boarded up for weeks, even one of our liberal radio personalities said it looked like a warzone. Sorry for the ramble, but it's been a very long last couple of months here and we don't see a good end in sight.
My wife is a Louisville native. She is also a Kentucky Colonel. She weeps at what her hometown has become.
I came here hoping to see an update on Louisville. I have family there but got off work too late to check in with them. If there is a ping list I’d like to get on it.
