FWIW, I’d only start to freak if activity suddenly ceased.
Not like this I couldn’t. I have watched this stuff for years and San Andreas quakes over 4 are surprisingly rare. Also most CA quakes are not on the SA fault, but over the past few days a significant number (admittedly small quakes) have been. This is the most extraordinary SA event I have seen in a long time.

When I lived in Japan, seemed like there were a couple hundred every day . Small ones.
Agreed.
The only thing a bit unusual is a increase in activity on the Cascadia Fault north of CA.
Nothing to worry about but I am keeping an eye on it.
