New York City is in free fall. Residential and commercial real estate is declining rapidly in value. The population is declining.The anti Semitism is palpable. Even secular Jews in the upper Westside are leaving especially those with young families. The Orthodox will remain in Brooklyn and will even buy up some of the vacating property. Yet it will remain a largely insular community continually under siege. Sad what has become of New York in such a short time.
