Dubais highest court has rejected an appeal by the ex-wife of a Russian billionaire to seize a £350 million ($460 million)superyacht in one of the worlds costliest divorce battles, a court ruling last week said.
The Dubai Court of Cassation rejected an appeal by Tatiana Akhmedova, ex-wife of oil and gas billionaire Farkhad Akhmedov, to seize the yacht as part of a 453 million pound divorce bill imposed by Londons High Court.
The vessel, the M.V. Luna, was built for Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich before Akhmedov bought it in 2014. It has at least nine decks, space for 50 crew, two helipads, a vast swimming pool and a mini submarine.

What good is this article without a picture of the superyacht?
See Comment # 2!
If I’m a Russian billionaire oligarch, I don’t get married...ever. I sleep with models until I die.
Man put a VLS on that front deck a couple guns on the upper decks with CIWS fore and aft and she might make it as a heavy destroyer. Especially with embarked sub and helipad.
Pretty ship -likely doesn’t have appropriate watertight doors internally and I don’t see any unre capability. Still she’s fine....mmmmmm
Tatiana shouldn’t have married old Farthad.
If he doesn’t want her, I’ll take her.
That’s not a yacht, it’s frickin Frigate!
Sorry meant heli-padS. and light destroyer....crew of 50 wouldn’t man a frigate in my day... but things change with automation.....
That rear deck could take a tail on her for sure....
What good is a yacht without a few million to maintain it?
What good is Tatiana without a few million to maintain her?
Avast!
Definitely. Maybe more women, less clothing.
I need two cheetahs as well.
There was a superyacht in the Bahamas at the same dock when we were there. The superyacht was so big many of us from the cruise ship couldn’t tell if it was a mini cruise ship or a private yacht.
That one had a speed boat, a submarine type of lifeboat, an inflatable type of watercraft, a helicopter, numerous jet skis with a small elevator to lower them into the water, etc. I think that there was a jeep or some other type of motor vehicle as well. $$$$$$
Two helicopter pads seems a bit much. Other than that seems like your typical multi billionaire oligarchs weekend retreat.
He might have the boat but he probably can’t go too far in it. Other nation’s ports are likely to allow the seizure. I wonder of Britain or its allies could legally seize the boat in international waters?
You going to get one?
