KINGS OF COCAINE Mexican cartels now using explosive-packed DRONES in chilling new brand of warfare
The sun ^ | 21 Aug 2020 | Ben Hill

The drones are loaded with C4, an explosive reserved for military use, with additional ammunition of pellets to cause further damage.

Part of the population of Tepalcatepec and even the self-defence groups have begun to move as they fear that it is not possible to tackle this new form of attack.

One dangerous scam involves forcing pharmacies to buy bogus medicines, which in turn end up in the bloodstreams of genuinely sick people needing treatment.

While another is to steal petrol out of buried pipelines leading to fuel shortages and dangerous explosions.

Last year was the worst year in the country's history for murder - there were 34,582 slayings in 2019, which equates to 95 every day.

The wall will slow them down but not impede their 'new' ideas. Comming to a city near you. Soon.

Far more dangerous than covid. Fully aided and abetted by the open borders jamokes.

“A nation can survive its fools and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly against the city.

But the traitor moves among those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.

For the traitor appears no traitor; he speaks in the accents familiar to his victim, and he wears their face and their garments and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men.

He rots the soul of a nation; he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city; he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared. The traitor is the plague. “

This is a very good IMAGINED quote from a historical novel; “A Pillar of Iron” by Taylor Caldwell.

The problem is worsened by the disruption of international supply chains, which means cartels are struggling to get hold of chemicals needed to make drugs like methamphetamine.

Oh, come on! Everybody knows how simple it is to stop a train and drain a tank car.

Flying claymores.

Makes good sense.

Must be buying them in Walmart stores or at gun shows in the U.S., according to those who insist the arming of the cartels is the fault of the American Second Amendment.

The common Mexican people are so screwed.

Of greater concern is the video, down the page, of Jalisco New Generation Cartel show of strength and challenge to rival Mencho. Amazing what money can buy on the world's weapons blackmarket. That's a sizeable group of 'soldiers', vehicles....many armored, and weapons LMGs etc. If some day they decide to break through the border, Panch Villa's raid will look like a revival meeting.

I don’t know anything about TV/movies land...

But in my misspent youth, I did work on a cross-country pipeline.

Time is money and that pipeline costs a bundle, so move they product FAST.

The faster it moves the higher the pressure.

No pump would be needed to fill the tank car, most likely the hose would burst unless the flow was throttled.

And best secure that hose or it will whip around and kill you.

IMO the cartels have infiltrated many of our defensive agencies.
By intimidation, outright purchasing, and the ever-popular use of political organizations.

Should they invade they will not get far ...

That horse is long out of the barn.

Not a direct assault, it is infiltration.

These guys are well equipped and trained and motivated ...

Historically religious fervor (mental illness?) goes further than paid mercenaries.
I’m guessing that the two groups will attempt to use the other for their own means? Symbiosis.

That said this is a massive problem that far exceeds COVID.

I think the back and forth personnel exchange between New Gen or Zetas and Mexican special forces or elite SORT police units is very high

That’s how Zetas started

They were originally a military group hired by the Gulf Cartel who took over when the Gulf leader was arrested after being betrayed by El Chapo

No Jalisco eventually countered with New Gen loser with military guys to stymie Zetas forays into Their own turf

Now New Gen is fighting Abuelo and the Michoacán cartel

Drone directed M60 sustained fire from an armored Land Cruiser or Dodge 2500 is their modus

Movement in light armour columns flanked by riflemen

A couple of years ago, I read that one reason that things are even more violent is ironically the success of breaking up the large cartels. As the large operations were broken up and their leaders arrested, they were replaced by younger and much smaller and much more violent groups.

The older cartels had certain rules they played by. For instance, because they had control of resort areas, they made sure that violence stayed well clear of resort/tourist areas. The newer groups had and have no such “rules”.

My late mom loved Mexico and the Mexican people. A real treat for her was to go to the lobster village (Puerto Nuevo) south of Tijuana. As you say, the common Mexican people are so screwed.
