I remember Fernando's post to another discussion board about what happened in Argentina. First, manufacturing and other production on home soil there was decreased and established in other countries. Imports increased, while exports decreased. Men's jobs, for the most part, were shut down.

Even some of the big exporters there were foreign interests (Italy, Spain and others). And all the while, the government there was increased towards socialism (women's jobs), and the debts piled up. Argentina cruised towards default and repudiation.

Sound familiar? Everyone, be sure to vote, and tell your conservative neighbors to vote! Discuss the issues (freedom!) subtly and tactfully with borderline lefties. Don't discuss politicians.
