People in lower latitudes, like Florida, south Texas and California, don’t need DST..................
I live in S Florida and I am close to the ocean. I see the scope of the sunrises from the S to the N and back S again. I rarely miss an ocean sunrise. I believe DST makes a huge, positive difference in the lives of S. Floridians. It may negatively affect seasonal/vacationers who think they want to eat outside in February. They are not my priority or quality of life issues.
