How are the bow running this year?
I live about 25 minutes from Churchill Downs...right across the Ohio River from downtown Louisville. Strangest Derby ever. No one is even talking about it.
It doesn’t really “start” that early. Really what they do is show some undercard races, talk about the Derby, then when the OFFICIAL NBC coverage starts more like 5, they replay every color thing they did over the undercard, then the last half hour is maybe actually “new” and live.
Oh, the funny thing is, last year the homo Johnny WeirD finally disappeared from NBC broadcasts.
I hated that with a passion. Johnny WeirD.
It was one of the reasons I love horse-racing.
But the humans are traitors. What do you expect how they treat damn Moslem Sheikhs with such respect.
A lot of the thoroughbred owners seem strange/odd.
I love a quarter-horse race. It’s like rolling thunder.
People around these parts were pretty pissed about that perversion prancing around the Derby.
They DO-—VERY BRIEFLY-—In the process of laying down....
So do cows.
LOL...some parts, you’ll tag out early.
I get very quickly bored with anything at a sporting event not having to do with the event. The Olympics are some of the worst with athletes who are doing it all for their three legged dog "Hoppy". Zzzzzz! But what would the Olympics be without me cursing at Bob Costas yelling at him to shut up?
If I find out that they’re doing it while the anthem is playing, I’m done. Shooting a horse is no big deal, eh? I see it in the movies all the time.
TiZ the Law very tough to beat...won at this distance in a virtual hand ride against some of same horses. Only defect is he seems to bear out a sometimes in the stretch. In a stampede field like this, that can be a problem.
2nd Max Player??
Could be looking at a non routine triple crown this year.
One I was watching was scratched due to minor injury and for the cherry on top of bad luck, the Jockey got the virus this week.
Sheikh Mohammed (Darley America)is one of the better owners. He or his representatives are always a presence at the yearling sales, donates a lot to local charities, is well respected and knowledgeable.
How he treated his wife is another matter, but he loves his horses!
