“we had the hottest August on record this year.”
it’s been brutally hot on the Front Range too ... and yes, snow on tuesday is going to seem like a miracle ... hoping this precip and cold is statewide and will help put out the forest fires ... smoke has been brutal too where i live as we are directly in the Cameron Peak smoke plume ...
labor day weekend camping trips
“Sheesh! How do you all know when its time to close the pool and put up the boat?”
ROTFLOL!
but true ... we can have a couple of cycles like this before hard winter really sets in ... and then the same thing happens in reverse during the early spring ...
“whats going on I-70 westbound towards Rockies from Denver”
yep ... and I-70 just reopened not too long ago through the mountains after being closed for two weeks because of a forest fire ... roads are still hot though, so an early snow shouldn’t stick for the most part ...
“Could 2020 suck any worse?”
ya’ll also getting really bad smoke from the Cameron Peak fire too? ... i’m right at the base of the foothills, so the smoke has been absolutely brutal on many of the days ...
7 degrees coming to Grand Lake, record temps.
Looking at going out to see the aspens turning color towards the end of the month. These temps may turn them now or just drop the leaves.
Hasn't been too bad, until today. Looks downright apocalyptic out there at the moment.
